The Bridge Fan Songs: Belvera's Songs to Battra
Based off Mothra's Song from Godzilla and Mothra the Battle for Earth.

Battra's Song

Belvera: Battra oh Battra...
When Terra calls forth your wrath...
For this crime, for her blood, like a blaze...
You will come!
Her warrior angel!

Battra oh Battra..
When Terra calls forth your wrath...
For this crime, for her blood, like a blaze...
You will come!
Her warrior angel!

Marah* Battra:

Marah Marah Batora!
Laga* laga Batora!
Laban Guerra Labanan!

Laban Guerra Labanan!
Marah marah Batora!
Laga laga Batora!

* Finding a translation for Mahara Mothra was a gigantic PAIN. Mahara is apparently a play on the word Mahal (remember, Japan's rs and ls are kinda the same thing), which means love, and toma means right, or enough. So I changed it to Marah, which means wraith, angry, or resentful, and laga, which means 'fight'. Laban guerra labanan apparently can at least translate to '"Fight, War, Battle"', which fit Battra just as well as Mothra Yes, it doesn't sound that good in English, but all the Mothra songs are a nightmare to translate.
Okay, this requires a lot of context.

Basically, during a livestream, :icontarbano: revealed that in the universe where The Bridge takes place (see here for context on said universe: www.fimfiction.net/blog/345509…) Belvera from the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy was originally Battra's Shobijin, like Moll and Lora are to Mothra until Battra's death.

She apparently even had a little Fairy Battra back then. Which was probably both adorable and terrifying.

So I thought 'if the Shobijin have songs for Mothra, why wouldn't Belvera have songs for Battra'?

And since my computer decided to be a royal pain and delete a large amount of progress I made on a commission due to crashing, I decided to write her versions of Mothra's main two songs.

And I wrote the main one in English because Mothra's songs apparently use multiple languages. Someone said as many as FOUR.

Ironically this ALSO meant her version of Mahara Mothra is ONLY untranslated because it doesn't make any SENSE in English.

Battra's Song would be sung by Belvera to call Battra to emerge from the lava where he and Godzilla Senior ended up and Marah Battra would be sung, ironically probably at the same exact time as Mahara Mothra during the battle with Godzilla, probably interchangeably.

For obvious reasons, these songs probably would have a much darker tone to them.

Since Mothra Lea is technically a Mothra/Battra hybrid in this universe, I imagine these songs also work the same way they do with Battra. In fact, given Belvera makes a Heel Face Turn, I could ironically imagine the sisters singing a song together to power up Lea during her fight alongside Junior against Grand King Ghidorah.

Also, not version of Sacred Springs because while Mothra's Song is used to SUMMON Mothra and Mahara Mothra is used to power her up in some way, Sacred Springs was used in the movie when Mothra emerged from her cocoon and Battra doesn't cocoon himself, he just kinda...explodes into his Imago form. So it didn't make much sense for him to have a version of that song.

Hope you guys like it!

Mothra, Battra, and Godzilla belongs to Toho!
The Bridge belongs to :icontarbano:!
